Early-bird entries are now open for the 17th edition of the Emperors Palace Classic, which takes place on 23 March 2025. Billed as ‘The Race of Dreams’, with its flat route and smooth road surfaces, this is one of the fastest races on the annual cycling calendar. The safety and health of riders is of the utmost importance to the race organisers and awareness and visibility signage is erected along the route to alert motorists of the event ahead of race day and on the day. There are more than 200 Interactive Security marshals and 150 Ekurhuleni Metro traffic officers are on duty on race day. Early-bird entries close 31 October 2024. The annual Groot Trap road cycle race promises to be a great day out for all cyclist.
